Laura Busby, M.Ed.
Laura Busby has been working with and advocating for students who have dyslexia since 2007 and is proud to say she has dyslexia herself. Helping students with dyslexia achieve all their goals, and feel good about themselves, is Laura's passion and life calling.
Laura is certified at the masters level in the Barton Reading and Spelling program. She is also trained in several Lindamood-Bell programs, Cognitively Guided Instruction math techniques, KP Mathematics, OG Math, Teaching Writing Structure and Style, and is a Cogmed Working Memory Training coach.
In 2009, Laura earned a bachelor's degree in education and history from Arizona State University and earned a master's degree in education from Arizona State University in 2013. While she was earning her master's degree, Laura served as Assistant Executive Editor on ASU's education research journal, Current Issues in Education.
Laura has given presentations for many prestigious institutions, including Penn State-Behrend and The International Dyslexia Association. Currently, Laura serves as a board member of Chandler SEPAC and with Decoding Dyslexia Arizona.

In her free time, Laura loves to garden, spend time with her husband and their two dogs, Kayla and Annabelle.
